The March Brownis a great all rounder.
Designed as a wet fly but makes an excellent small olive/mayfly pattern,It will represent a nymph if fished wet it is an excellent emerger pattern if fished in the surface film.
And If it is ginked up it makes the most amazing small Olive.On my last trip to Norway I fished it almost exclusively and never felt that I was missing out on fish.
It is a lovely fly to fish. If you are wondering how the same fly can be in the dry and wet categories. Watch the video, and it does work that well, on a pretty special river admittedly.
