This is an English made metal fly box with a leather outer cover.
The leather is bonded to the box with water proof glue
so the occasional dunking wont hurt it too much.
Embossed with LB on the front and an ephemera stamped on the back.
The box will (could) hold 200 flies in the 10 to 20 size range,
larger and smaller sizes at a pinch.
It is the ideal size for stream and river flies and will hold enough flies for extended trips.
Although it might not contain the exact fly you need just when you need it.
